Jonathon Davos
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Vision Officer
Jonathon Davos brings over two decades of enterprise technology leadership to Skygate Advisors. A computer science graduate of Northwestern University, Jonathon spent the early part of his career building distributed systems at Fortune 500 firms before ascending to VP of Architecture at a major Chicago-based financial services company.
Watching the cloud revolution unfold from the inside of large, slow-moving organizations, Jonathon recognized that enterprises desperately needed expert guidance — not a commodity service. That insight became the founding thesis of Davos & Associates in 2014 (later re-branded as Skygate Advisors in 2022).
Today, Jonathon sets the technical direction for the firm, personally leading architecture reviews on flagship client engagements. His hands-on approach and deep specialty in AWS well-architected principles ensure that every system Skygate Advisors touches is built for long-term resilience.
Michael Schultz
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Michael Schultz is the commercial engine behind Skygate Advisors, responsible for revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and the firm's overall direction. A Northwestern University business alumnus, Michael spent fifteen years in management consulting and technology services leadership before co-founding Skygate Advisors.
Childhood friends since the third grade, Michael and Jonathon always knew they would build something together. Where Jonathon sees architecture, Michael sees opportunity — a complementary pairing that has defined the firm's culture of honest, value-driven engagement.
As CEO, Michael oversees client relationships at the executive level, ensures the firm's commercial strategy aligns with its technical capabilities, and champions the high-touch delivery model that differentiates Skygate Advisors from larger, less personal competitors.

Stephen Tylisz
Chief Technology Officer
Stephen Tylisz serves as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing all major architectural projects and ensuring consistent technical excellence across client engagements. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University and brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Raised near Chicago's "Polish Triangle", Stephen is known for his methodical, first-principles approach to complex engineering problems. Before joining Skygate Advisors, he held principal architect and CTO roles at logistics, healthcare, and financial technology companies, where he developed deep expertise in regulated industry cloud deployments.
Stephen drives Skygate Advisors' internal technical standards, architects the firm's most demanding client engagements, and mentors the senior engineering team.
Meghan Verhoeven
Chief Financial Officer
Meghan Verhoeven is the financial steward of Skygate Advisors, responsible for everything from P&L management and financial reporting to client billing governance and operational budgeting. A proud Chicagoan, Meghan holds a CPA designation and brings deep technology services finance experience to the leadership team.
Her precision and commercial acumen have been instrumental in keeping Skygate Advisors on sound financial footing through its growth phases, while her expertise in SaaS and professional services economics helps clients understand the true ROI of their cloud investments. Meghan works closely with the engagement teams to ensure cloud cost optimization recommendations are backed by rigorous financial modeling.
Emilia Huerta
Chief Sales Officer
Emilia Huerta leads all commercial growth initiatives at Skygate Advisors, overseeing the sales organization, marketing function, and demand generation programs. A graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Emilia brought enterprise SaaS and professional services sales leadership to the firm after a distinguished career at several Chicago technology companies.
Her expertise lies in building high-conversion sales ecosystems — from brand positioning and content strategy through pipeline development and enterprise deal management. Under her leadership, Skygate Advisors' qualified pipeline has grown consistently year over year, establishing the firm as the recognized boutique cloud brand in the Chicago market and beyond.
Cameron Rose
VP of Data
Cameron Rose leads Skygate Advisors' data, analytics, and AI practice as VP of Data. He holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and brings over a decade of experience building data platforms, machine learning pipelines, and enterprise AI systems at scale.
Cameron joined Skygate Advisors from a senior data engineering role at a major Chicago-based media company, where he architected a real-time event streaming platform processing billions of events daily. At Skygate Advisors, he oversees big data infrastructure design, predictive analytics engagements, and the growing AI integration practice — helping clients move from AI experimentation to production-grade deployments with clear ROI.
